Andreina Aquique
Andreina became a registered Music Together teacher on November of 2007 and is very excited about this wonderful, new experience. She has been a Music Together mom since 2006, and seeing how much her kids enjoyed the program inspired her to become an MT instructor.
Born and raised in Venezuela, she started taking music classes at the age of five; later on, she studied Music Theory and played the Cello for over 10 years. She graduated from Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1997 with a degree in Dentistry and practiced for 3 years before moving to Minnesota in 2000 with her husband, Esteban. In 2005, she became a Certified Spanish Interpreter. That year, she also got in touch with the music world again while taking Middle Eastern dance and percussion classes. Among her favorite things are summers, cooking, going home to visit family, watching movies, and attending concerts (Classical, Rock, Pop, Ethnic so many to name!!!)
Andreina and Esteban have two children, Emma and Alan, who were born here in Minnesota, and the whole family takes great pleasure in exploring both cultures to which they all belong.
